This Website is the official website of the "Dimo Kissyov, Writer" Foundation - a non-governmental organization for private benefit / in the process of establishment /. The initiative to establish the foundation belongs to members of the writer's family.
The main goal of the foundation is to present the work of the writer Dimo Kissyov (1918-1993) through the Jubilee edition of his collected works on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth. The authors of the publication are Raina Kissyova (1921-2013) and Veselin Kissyov (1946) - the writer's wife and son. Available manuscripts, printed editions in the period 1957-1987, as well as posthumously published books (1996 and 2001) of the author were used within the compilation. In some places, the censorship typical of state communist publishing houses was avoided until 1989, when Dimo Kissyov's books were published.
The publication is an official publication of the Foundation and is in the form of electronic books in the license-free PDF format. The designation of a book as a "first edition" or a subsequent edition is approximate, given the nature of the publication, which is not intended for commercial distribution. ISBN can be assigned when publishing a book by D. Kissyov by a licensed publisher.
All books in the publication have proper protection for the copyrights of the writer Dimo Kissyov. All copyrights and related rights are reserved.
"Dimo Kissyov, Writer" Foundation is self-supporting and accepts only targeted financial support / donations / for:
- Printed edition of the Collected Essays or individual books in the series
- Translation into a foreign language and publishing selected books from the Collected Essays
- Stage dramatizations, audio books, television and feature films based on works from the Collected Works
The Foundation may order the assignment of the use of Dimo Kissyov's copyrights under the Copyright and Related Rights Act, as intellectual property, instead of acquiring shares, to startups in the field of book publishing, dramatic and visual arts.
